Team Detroit

Unfortunately we cant say to much about this project just yet but its always nice to get a bit of feedback from the client about how they thought we performed. This was an especially jolly one from Toby Barlow, Chief Creative Officer of Team Detroit in the US.

Tate Motley

So as we were saying, a trip to the tate Modern in London. Loads of sunflower seeds and a trip to the book shop. Motley mag still going strong and nice to say that we have had some work exhibited in the Tate Modern, (yeah ok, not quite the Turbine Hall, but pretty close to it).

Thanks to our friend Tim for the blurry badly lit shot which makes Matt look really ugly.

Motley Grand Expo

To celebrate the release of Motley Issue 1, we put on a little opening (drinks and nibbles supplied by A World Beneath, so thanks to them for that).

Paris Yum

Wandering through the citiy with the poorest signage system in Europe does have its perks. Whilst wandering the tunnels of the Paris metro we stumbled across this poster which we rather liked. More nice posters of theirs to be seen on their site

Designer greehnouse

This summer, after a lovely crop of potatos and just about finishing off the new house it was time to start looking towards next years veggies and how to grow them. Obviously a greenhouse.

Well its pretty hard to find a nice looking greenhouse, especially if you are looking for that something a little bit special. So we have decided to design and build our own.

Still in the early sketch phase we have opted for some nice red ceder and nice chunky steel girders, and of course glass all around.

Well we thought we would share a couple of images and a little video showing how the windows might open.

Donky magic

Little Donkey was a design concept for a new Mexican restaurant situated in London. The brief was to design an identity that looked modern but with some fun behind it.

The main concept came form a Piñata and the breaking open of it to reveal the goodies inside. This idea was developed over a range of products where breaking the seal, opening doors and tearing cards would split the Piñata in two.

Linné

We designed a little identity for a pitch for a Swedish university that we thought was worth putting in our sketch pad. Linneaus was the guy who laid the foundation for the way in which we name any kind of species, especially within Botany. The logo took the shape of a growing plant as well as an opening book.
